This special hard metal tool was made at the request of one of our customers to make holes and to follow a short milling to bevel corners. The processing material where this drill-and-milling tip is used is aluminum. Practically the processing consists of two phases. The first (drilling) makes a hole with a diameter of 5.025 mm. After the drilling operation, the cutter makes two chamfers with different sizes: 1) one with an angle of 45 ° 2) one with an angle of 19 ° with the addition of a counterbore Practically with this cutter our customer performs three operations without changing the tool, saving time and costs.
